"OldGliders" models

We are proud to announce that we have the exclusive distribution for models of the Polish manufacturer "OldGliders". The big scale planse (more than 4 m wingspan) are only produced order related so that all individual wishes can be fulfilled. Models up to 4 m wingspan (marked as "storing") are usually available. Of course this doesn`t mean that individual wishes might not be respected. Colouring and and configuration can still be chosen. The construction of the models is based on CNC milled parts and classical wood construction. The fuselages are planked former constructions with special coating by 2K finish. The wings are rib constructions and covered with Oratex.

For planes which are order related we need an advance payment of 200,- Euro. The outstanding payment has do be done before delivery. Cash on deliver is not possible. We also offer to install electronics like servos. Just tell us which servo types you prefer by telephone. Complete electronic installation (receiver, battery) is also possible. In this case the model will be pre-balanced and have all installations like cables, ready linkage. All that`s left is programming the radio control unit and you are ready for the first flight. This is a very exclusive service for those who have no time or space to build such a model by theirselves.

Shipping of models with more than 4 m wingspan is only possible by agreement. Shipping is only possible by conveyance (e.g. Schenker). The models will be sent in solid wooden boxes. The conveyance shipping is only possible to companies addresses (e.g. your place of work). Pickup by yourself in Polish city Chodzież is preferred. It`s also possible to ship by ourself for individual price - please feel free to ask us.

Delivery takes approximately 6 - 8 weeks.

IS-4 Jastrząb has been awarded with a cup from "Przegląd Modelarski" magazine while

This is a model of the first aerobatic glider that has been constructed in Poland after WW II in 1949. The IS-4 Jastrząb is stable enough to go through all classical aerobatic figures. It is also possible to make thermal flights.

This is a model of the first double-seated Polish glider which has been constructed for high performance. Due to the balanced and very reliable flight performance, the Bocian was often used as a teaching plane. It is stull used for training courses on many airfields in Germany, Poland and other countries.

A very handy model of the well known pre-war plane. The Klemm can be powered by 12 cm³ 2T oder 15 cm³ 4T nitro motor angetrieben werden. The model was successfully tested with electric motor Hacker 1250W at 5s-LiPo and 70 amps controller. The empennage is removable for better transport.

Szpak 2 in The Polish Weekly Newsreel

We are preparing a model airplane of the first polish constructions made after WWII. The LWD Szpak 2 has been built just once as a prototype and had its first flight at 28^th of October, 1945. It is a rare construction with very curious wing geometry which will an enrichment for every model plane airfield. The plane is purposed for air tow. The cowling is big enough for using 60 – 120 ccm engines. Big rudder areas and flaps in the wings predestine the plane for this purpose.
